I'd think that was about as rare as a Blaze.

Nice Dog.

Nice one! In all this time, yours is the only other pup I've seen with one-off max resists.

My Sherman has been trained since this screeny was taken, but even with the lower stats, it's difficult to kill him and the gods know I've certainly tried.

Sorry, I cant transpher it to cats, I just recently came back to uo and am very broke, hence why I am taming. And yep Im so proud of it lol. Its the best I have EVER seen

I don't know why you'd sell it. Most tamers want the best for themselves. However, I'd say it's prob worth 20-35 mil (dont know your shard prices).

I'm selling it cause I really need money, And two I mainly tame for colors not stats
So if someone wants to trade a blaze I would be more than willing

While the resist are great, I'll give you that, and it is a rare find. I am not sure that it would be worth that much, mostly because of the hps.

Example, my Cu (Vader's Fist) is 11 from max resist. He has max in Physical and Cold. And he has 599hps.

I think there is a point where hps are > than resist.

That meaning, if the resist are a couple of points off, say 5, I'd rather have a pet that had 50 more hps.

Anyway, just my 2 gold worth.

*smiles* I do try periodically, however, it's remarkably difficult for me to better the pups already in my stables. Were I to find another Sherman with 590hp, I could happily cease looking.

Next to Sherm, the best resists pup I own is -3 max (587hp if memory serves), and while exceptionally rare, I still see far more -3's than another -1.

I consider that to be considerably better than your 545hp Sherman.

I think you have to look at it in combination of hps + resist.

Agreed, it's very much a balance thing for me.

Furthermore, with eight tamers with varying templates, I have a whole lot of leeway with that balance.

My minimum requirements for my two tamer/mages, for example, would far exceed any real necessity on either my discord/tamer or my archer/tamer.

The only real benefit to higher hp, is when your animal is a main pet. And you end up fighting monsters that hit on their low resist. I would much rather have a min hp dog with near perfect resists. And simply hunt accordingly.

As far as my main pet goes, it would never be a dog, always a hiryu for me.

I have eight stables full of main pets. My hunting choices aren't so limited that any one pet type would adequately cover my ideal hunting companion.

As fond as I am of cu sidhes, I can't even consider them my main pet.

Truthfully, all my pets are my "main pets" simply because I do see them all fairly regularly. My various stables contain everything from a giant rat, a giant ice worm, a unicorn, a pair of fire steeds, a pack of five frenzied ossies, a number of nightmares, dragons & ww's, bake kitsunes, hiryus, rune beetles, and yes reptalons, too.

I'm not likely to pit my giant rat, unicorn, ossies, or even any of my cu sidhes against an ancient wyrm, since a hiryu is the easily the best pet for that particular hunt.

I love my reptalon for Travesty, and a bake kit + rune beetle for Melissande.

For Gauntlet, I'm as apt to take my hiryu as a pup or even a mare or bake kit + rune beetle combo though my choices alter with game changes since years ago my fave Gauntlet choice was a unicorn and white wyrm.

For champs, if I'm taking a tamer, I'm likely covering incoming raids so either a hiryu or a mare + rune beetle combo works equally nicely.

The fact is, I have as much or more fun with my giant rat, Basil, as I do with Percy, my blaze cu sidhe, or Nekko my plain grey hiryu, or Darp & Wippy my rune beetles. Could just be me though - it often is!
