Ingame events, best night for events?

Has anyone ever tried to do an ingame Raffle during a player event?

Im trying to figure out a secure way of doing this... I was thinking selling numbered books out of a vendor wouldnt be secure enough so I was thinking of people "buying in" by giving me a bag with a check for, say 100k, and a book with there name and contact information....

Any thoughts?

Also the poll is to see what the best night is for events. Im trying to see when the most people would be available.

Method that seems to work is rename your house '1' mark a rune on it, Then rename it '2' and so on. They could make their own rune, but recall to it and if it doesn't go to your house it's fake.

I seem to be in the minority, but the weekends are the worst time for me to attend events due to work. Early or mid-week evenings is the best time for me.

Considering I'm always at work on Sundays and never home that day is OUT... Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays are often booked for me as well... so I chose Friday. But Saturday would work too.
