Info on Garg back to Human/Elf

Just in case anyone was wondering you can save yourself a token and do the appropriate quest to go back from Garg to elf/human.

I just completed it myself and it works.

I really liked the animation of gargs, but the non-meddable necklace and earrings really did it in for me, plus the lack of gear.

This is the only thing I really am not liking about the expansion and somethign I think they dropped the ball on. I do not see the reasoning behind the kilts, earings, necklaces taking the place of our standard armour.

No way at this point do I make a pvp or pvm char a gargoyle; my crafter is one and he looks pretty awesome flapping his wings at the soulforge but I'd much rather being flying around tossing ebolts in my regular pvp suit.

The flapping is awesome, and I agree on the whole garg stuff. Just keep the same gear and make it convertable. I'm sure at some point they'll change the whole med thing because it's just broken, but until then and most likely after I'll stay human.

The advantages of being an elf or human far outweigh a zero control slot flight.

Nope, flying takes no control slot, it's about the only thing a Garg has going for them really.

I was looking forward to being able to have a wisp plus demon/etc. But without being able to med it's just plain asinine.

Great expansion, but they screwed the pooch on garg gear.

It is pretty annoying that Gargoyles can only wear 'Gargoyle only' gear, while elves can wear regular gear plus 'elf only' gear. All other gear, if unmarked is treated like 'human only' gear for the gargoyle.

Regular rings and bracelets can still be worn by gargoyles.

Sure Gargoyles have horns, so a leather cap would have to have holes in it to allow them through. They have claws, so they would also need holes in the finger tips of the gloves. They are much taller than humans and elves, so the pants would fit like shorts, and the shirts like a half shirt... leaving alot of skin exposed, therefore not so much armor protection.

A kilt is no better than shorts, and earrings are certainly not better than a helmet, so why can't they wear either one?

I wonder if you have to do the elf quest then turn around and do the elf to human quest or if there is a third quest included in the expansion?

This.

Either or should work, I did the Elf-Human quest and obviously became Human.

I'm assuming the Human-Elf quest would work to turn you from Garg to Elf, as I completed a few steps in Garg form before I decided I wanted to be human, not elf.

And Freesly, waste your tokens if you want; but since there is no quest to become garg, the tokens are the only means to do so. If at some point changes are made to make gargs up to par with humans and elves, I think the tokens will increase substantially in value and rarity.
