indestructable pirate ship?

shot about 25 shots at a pirate ship and it did 0 damage.... the ship before this took like half those shots, i think this is glitched

i think some must be bugged as last night a group of 3 of us plastered 180 heavy cannonballs into the pirate ship and 0 damage was done.
Tonight we have just tried again and put 80 heavy grapeshots into it and 110 heavy cannonballs and again the boat was not damaged at all. only other thing i can think of is there is a sequence to damaging them or its just we have been so unlucky to have had this bug twice

I wonder if, because of the new smooth sailing, the pirate ship isn't actually where you think it is. You may be seeing it get damaged, but that's just what you're comp is showing you. Pure, wild, speculation, 'cause I don't know.
