So out of curiosity, how come I can't name my rune Compassion, but a guild can run around with the abbreviation of FYOU? How is that not against the ToS? I have paged on them, and nothing comes from it. I think thats a little bit out of the realm of acceptable.

This is not the place to pursue this. If you have issues with a person or guild in the game take it up with Mythic. Stratics can not help you with this issue.
