Do they reset at server-up or any other time? It seems to me that more and more are getting unreachable. As the total number per level seems limited, some levels are almost free of Essence except this blocked ones.

I ran across quite a few myself in several of the dungeons.

On Europa, the SW room in Deceit LVL3 has ten or more Essences, and the EC displays another dozen or so in Despise LVL1 under the "lake" in the NW room.
Either the range to pick them up might be increased, which would make sense, or they should disappear if not picked up after a while.

I don't think they reset. I've seen some in the same inaccessible spot since the event started.
