In Game Games

Hi guys I was just wondering if there where any more in game games I did not know about or have not seen.

I know of Bag Ball and Rat in a Jar and have been to the gauntlet. Are there any others that you have played or made up and your willing to share?

But Rat in a Jar is a fel based game.

When Malas first opened up, I had 2 18x18 plots side by side, played around with those for ages.

One of the designs I came up with was a 9-hole miniature golf course; complete with putting greens, water & sand traps, mini monster statuettes, a different theme for each hole, etc. I deco'd the hell out of it, basically.

There was also a little Pro Shop that sold putters (war axes), coloured balls (of yarn), rule books and cup-&-dice sets. Of course the dice was how you played the game, the golf setting was just a visual theme.

Basically you got a roll of the dice, half the total (rounded down if need be), then you could move your ball that number of tiles.. a bit like a board game, really. Each hole was 6 tiles in length, so it was possible but unlikely to get a hole in one.

Kind of cheesy, but it worked pretty well as a bit of fun.

back when i had a custom house i used to have a chess board set up using statues as pieces. its actually how i first met sims! hehe
could do something similar but make it checkers its a quicker game and easier to learn aswell.

Are there any more EM places left for us to play with? I know about the gauntlet we nicknamed it "Pirates Peril" as alot died during that swabbies promotion. (cymmy came up with the name, I miss cymmy).

I once used 2 18x18 to make a 3D 4 story Monopoly board.

Took over my life for about 6 weeks as i decorated the hell out of it, transversed every card from the real game in UO terms, made rule books and even had a few test games.

It was an excellent set up and would be awesome to do in fell.

Actually DARYL did take some but im not sure if he would still have them.

The whole thing was translated perfectly into UO except the only problem was, like real monopoly; it toook HOURS to finish a game

Do you remember any of it offhand? Give us a few examples of street names, chance/chest cards, etc?

Well offhand i can remember i replaced Go! with IDOC!

Mayfare or however spelt was replaced with Luna square etc.

Chance cards were like 'Ambushed by orcs; lose 2,000

Spawn crashed by PK's; lose 8,000

Gah i can't remember any other's.

Oh ahah, 'Quitting Player at Bank, recieve 10,000'

'Oops, it's a paragon; lose 6,000'

i replaced the train stations with the factions 'You gain control of Shadow Lords faction; gain 15,000. Shadow Lords protection rates: 1 Guards - 1,200.

That kind of stuff.

It is a shame its gone Dain it sounds really unique to ultima, I am so jealous what I hear about the Asian shards is that they have all sorts of fancy stuff Em's have placed around there shard.
