Improved Rock Hammer

The improved rock hammer caught my attention in the UO Store. I have one question about it, though. Does it have unlimited uses or what? The description doesn't say either way.

Never seen one but can guarantee it’s got charges. No way to make money off something that doesn’t wear out.

 

[Cailleach]

They come with 500 uses. And they're not really that much better than just setting your pickaxe to stone. I tried this with a couple earlier this year & was decidedly underwhelmed!
