[Imbuing] imbuing wood armor

ever since i learned wood armor can have HCI 5 or DI 10 on it, its got me thinking about ways i can try to make my suit more efficient.

the deal is though, i'm a stealther, so i would want mediable armor - which makes imbuing Mage Armor on every piece a necessity.

So my question really is, how badly would putting Mage Armor on every piece of wood gimp me in other departments?

I can use any faction arty I want. I'll probably be using:

Faction Mace and Shield or Spirit of Totem (for HCI)
Faction Rune beetle carapace

The optionals here are:

Stormgrip for HCI and DI - however if I can get enough from wood armor I won't bother
I'm wearing Faction fey legs - if I can put +15 on each ring I'm not sure how necessary this would be. It would be nice to have 50 DCI but I dont wanna gimp myself if I'll need crafted legs.

Other than that, I would want +25 dex, as much +mana, lmc, and +sta as I could get.

I'm guessing I may have between 2-4 wood pieces so that would be 2-4 mods lost to imbuing Mage Armor.

Would that gimp me, to trade those for higher resists and more flexibility elsewhere as I move DI and HCI off my rings/bow to my armor?

Thanks for your thoughts

The thing that sucks, that I hate, about mage armor is that it counts as a property thus wasting one property on every piece of non-leather armor it's on.

I love wearing metal armor. My favorite suit is a mix of platemail and ringmail but since it's non-med all of my dexxers wear leather and medable artifacts.

If you desire to cram as many magic properties as possible onto your suit then you pretty much have to go with leather.
