[Magery] Imbuing/Spellbooks

I've searched 10 pages in this forum, never did see the topic. Was there a discussion, dev comment, poll, anything on why we can't imbue spellbooks? Was there some reasoning or was this option just missed during the creation of imbuing skill?

I'm rather surprised that we can't imbue spell books.
