I know your time is important so i'll try to be brief.
I was deciding what the best solid template would be for a crafter that wanted to make all the craftables in smithing and carpentry. It came to light that a carpenter would need skill in music to make the instruments.
I find this very interesting because i don't see a reason as to why somebody would want to make an instrument being that powerful slaying instruments drop as occasional loot.
Have you ever considered making the crafting of instruments like the crafting of weapons?
I believe it would be a solid crafting ability some people would want. You could make it so that the more music skill and carpentry you had the better your results, and with special woods etc.
Or could maybe someday imbuing move to instruments?
Its just a thought, i am sorry for the drawn out question it just happened to really interest me.
