I've got a list of stuff I want to make. For instance, I may make a set of dragon scale armor. It was really cool looking, but the AOS devs ruined it as useful equipment; it's viable now. Likewise, ranger armor might be fun. I'm going to make some full suits of every type of armor with my crafter's name on them.
Right now, my mage is wearing a full suit of plain, old school leather armor for the first time since AOS came out. Pre-AOS, he just wore clothes most of the time, because even leather armor made meditation less effective back then. I just put int 7, hpr 1 onto each piece, and made the suits all 70s, and I don't even bother to insure them. The pieces just cost like 3-4k gold for gems per piece, after all. I didn't waste any POF on them; they'll probably get lost before they wear out. They just take a couple of minutes to make, too. If I lose one every 3 or 4 deaths, it's still less expensive than the 8k per death I was paying for insurance. And so far, I better count myself lucky; I'm still using the first one I made. It's even lasted through a few repairs. It may even last long enough to die of "old age", IE durability loss.
My warrior is wearing a suit of mad bloodwood armor. I imbued it first, then enhanced it so I got to use all 5 of the imbues, then add the HPR 2 from the bloodwood to put it at 600 total intensity; it's 12x HPR, 18x SPR, 40% LMC, +40 mana, +40 stamina and all 70s. Of course, I popped about 2 dozen pieces to make it, but it's about as uber as you can get. I've made 2 jewels with 15 HCI/15 DCI/22 DI/8 STR each to go with it, and I have an old +15 HCI/14 DCI wooden shield enhanced with bloodwood and quiver of infinity to get to the HCI/DCI/DI/HPR caps. I haven't really decided what I'm going to put on the jewelry for the 5th mods. Probably either stam or int. They're close to the cap, so it won't really matter much, anyway.
