Schools here locally start early, but then they get out early.

Schools began classes here Aug. 10th.

This fall though, as usual students were all assigned lockers, and were permitted to carry backpacks as usual...but this past week the county school admins. decided to BAN backpacks and lockers, for all students beginning with the HS. and working their way down to K at removing lockers from the schools here.

Needless to say all hell has broken loose locally, with students and parents this week, quite angered at this latest ruling by school admins. & nearly one month AFTER school has begun here locally.

WOW! My high school does not allow students to carry backpacks around, but they do have their lockers. Every once in awhile we go on a lockdown while the bring drug/weapon sniffing dogs in. That's always an interesting day!

Wha... They expect the kids to carry everything they need for the whole day to every class and to their lunch without a backpack? Are they out of their minds?

We have lockers and are allowed backpacks at my highschool, but we aren't allowed to wear hats in the school after a false alarm triggered a three hour lockdown a few years ago

full time job
full time college
pregnant girlfriend moving in with me
and of coarse my RL friends that I play DND with

UO will soon be my escape when im on my laptop at school, or when im home alone and dont feel like doin homework, and nothing more... probly have more time when winter break comes, and then summer break again.
