I'm changing specs

So last night I was running with my guild thru Ramparts and BF, and well, I noticed that my dps was pretty low. Now I was the lowest level, but I think I can do better on dps. So, I'm thinking of changing specs from combat. Although maybe I should just get better swords first, I dunno.

Swords is hands down the absolute best spec for PvE.

The goal as a sword rogue is a slow (2.8+ speed) main hand and a very fast (1.5- speed) off-hand. The reason you want a slow MH is because the top-end damage is higher thus affecting your SS hits (which is a high majority of your damage).

I know you're not 70 yet but combat will be the best in terms of pure DPS right now for you.

ok. I never claimed to know everything!

That's good to know. Right now my off hand sword is way to slow. I'll be on the hunt for a new one now. Tell ya, when I hit 70- I will be respecing. I'm on a pvp server for a reason!

I have to agree that Swords is the way to go for DPS. Daggers is Burst damage but then after the burst not easy to keep the damage up.

The other thing is, if you are spec'ed in Combat with Swords you get a chance at an extra swing.

Im know his gear is kinda low but i just hit 70 on him not to long ago.
