Spent 3 hours today trying to get EA to help with our old accounts and let us login, haven't gotten that fixed yet but I'm sure we will!

That stinks for sure, there were a lot of impostors back in the day. As far as keeping your items though and not paying you - wasn't me.

If the account wasn't transferred to an EA/Mythic account be sure to use your old UO account name and add "_UO" to it. Then you can easily create/tie it to an EA/Mythic account. I waited until my CC's expired until I made the move and it felt like a hassle. I also found it easier and feeling safer having a different EA/Mythic account for every UO account.
