Im a little confused regarding barding deed coloring....

the slimes have nothing to do with dying the barding deeds, correct?

I tried to dye a deed off slimes, and it would not let me. I also tried to dye a deed of a tokonu minor dye, and it wouldnt let me. How in the world do you dye them?

From my understanding it just needs to be a new barding deed and you can use the tokuno dyes on it.


Is the barding deed you have a freshly made one?

you don't dye them . a blacksmith will make then from various colored ingots. and the deed will take on the ingot color. I hope that helps I don't believe the color of the ingots gives any added protection just a different color.

I will just give this much info, don't use iron ingots...

You have to use colored ingots to make the barding deed, then simply use a slime (or a tokuno dye) on the barding deed.

really not worth dying, cause the first time you get hit, that pretty new armour is gonna break...yikes! Okay maybe not first, i don't know the actual formula but that armour can and will break, even in guild play.
