Im 18yr's is Uo the game for me?

I dont have a monster pc anymore since my 8800 died...and i heard all thheseguys on other forums talking about how much they loved uo. Im on trial ad im finding the game rather frustrating....Mayby because (since on trial) i cant access dungeons and the trammel nerf ive been reading about dulled my hopes.

So i went to seige perilous ... i feel like a complete noob. Im STILL LEARNING THE BASICS after a week...and im frustrated that there isnt a better tutorial....

I think this game would be alot better if I got to communicate with ppl? or got into a guild.

Well, if you're on Siege, you don't have to worry about Trammel (it doesn't exist on Siege Perilous).

On the other hand, by going to Siege, you're effectively throwing yourself to the wolves. SP is made up of experienced players - that's why it's not meant for new players.

Ask around on Siege for the NEW guild - they exist SPECIFICALLY to help new arrivals on that shard get on their feet.

AYE, Second for NEW. I had a hard time getting going on there until I joined. It's a 30 day membership, and they will give you everything you need to get started, and then help you find a guild that fits your playstyle afterwards.

You also have to remember that some people have been playin this game for 12 years now.

Im 23 and starteed in 98 took a long break and came back almost 2 years ago, i still dont now much!

Its a learning experience, that for me was one of the attractions, its not a game that you pick up and in a week you have mastered. It takes an age!

I would suggest as the other 2 said, ask for NEW. They helped me out bundles when i went to siege, although i didnt stay. The time-zones just didnt work for me and no-one was about. If you try one of the smaller shards close to your time-zone you will undoubtably find people willing to help. Even the larger shards(atl or GL) have guilds who take pleasure in helping new players.

Oh, one last thing...you may be frustrated, trust me when i say 15days is like a second in the eyes of UO! you will never experience the full flavour in that time...it just isnt possible!

If they are still offering the free 30days, take it up...youll almost certainly not cancel the account!

aye! tho I don't play Siege it is a worthy shard to go to. I've played 9+ years and haven't tapped all that I could do.
