Ignore Player Feature Request

Current ignore feature hides players chat, spell casting words of power, incoming player names, etc. If you ignore the "bright, educated, well spoken PVP'ers" you are at a disadvantage by missing out on some essential PVP aspects.

It'd be really cool if you could just ignore the chat features but still see the overhead player name while they come on screen and the spells they are casting.

Too much effort for little gain?
Ideally you don't see the ones you ignore ingame again after putting them on ignore.

If only the world revolved around me, then it'd be ideal... its a nice thought and would make this post useless. Unfortunately I see the players I put on ignore in PVP areas which is why I'd like to see ignore for only what the players type.
I currently ignore players while trying to take screenshots for reports, then remove them when its time to go back home to fel. There has to be someone else that shares the same view as me on this.

I'll second it. Some people just like to spam like idiots in general chat and deserve to be put on ignore, however it should not effect seeing them with All Names/Incoming Names or their spell casting. Ignoring someones chat should be separate.

I think the ignore feature should be completely removed. It strips a person from the enjoyment and heartbreak of experiencing the full affect of those in the world around them.

Mirrored as in RL, the need for everyone to learn how to deal with and survive everything has high importance. It makes for a more adaptive species. Promoting the "coddle me " bags of water must stop, our survival relies on it.

Except in the real world if someone acts like some people do hiding behind their computers you have the option to not interact with them which is the same as the ignore feature. If people habitually behave badly you ostracize them expelling them from society to teach them a lesson and improve society by their absence. The ignore feature, being perma banned from UO, being thrown in prison are all variations of this.

Maybe add a few check boxes/options (chat/overhead/name etc) under Ignore to allow customisation for what to filter and what not to filter?

Also if you could include a toggle on-off for Guild/Alliance chat in the future it'd be awesome.
