I've seen dozens of posts about people saying they got a Mempo of Fortune or that their friend got one (and in some cases multiple), but I have yet to see a single screenshot of someone wearing one..

Getting minis is about QUANTITY of kills, not quality. Each dead gives you a chance.

I doubt anyone even has a Mempo of Fortune... claims are not substantiated without a screenshot in UO. This goes for the following: ownership claims of Mempo of Fortune; cow tippings.

Am I the only person not obsessed with the memphos? I don't expect to get one, as little as I farm. I don't even think about it when I go out and kill stuff. I do get giddy over the dyes, so yeah I am a dork about some things...but seriously, it's like every other U Hall post is about the mempho. It's actually pretty annoying. I wish the mods would just sticky a thread about them and lock all the others. I even have a great starter for it:

• Yes, they exist.
• They can drop from any monster like any of the minor Tots.
• It's true, they were modeled after the mask Hannibal Lecter wears in "Silence of the Lambs" Fava bean scent in the leather is only available to KR users.
• If you haven't gotten one it's because the RNG hates you.
• If you have gotten one it's because the RNG hates you a little bit less than other people. The RNG is a furious beast, do not be forgetting that.
• If I get one I'm totally going to come here and brag about it. Or I'll throw it in a box like all the other rare armor junk I get and forget about it, because it would mess up my luck suit too much to try to work it in but I could never sell it because it was so hard to get (I might need it!!!), but then they'll re-release them or make them a regular drop later so it'll be devalued anyways, which doesn't matter since it is just going to sit in my 'rare armor junk' box *pants* What was I saying?

I completely agree. Getting a mempo by random chance is like winning a lotto draw!

Why take this cruel situation on the spawn grounds. In example at the entrance room of the Yomotsu mines, the first 2 rooms spawns ellies which goes directly to you by merely standing there hehe.

The problem wise guys who knows this never leaves the spot at all if ever as I onced chanced in to get the spot a minute after servers came back they get pissed as if they own the spawns. So what do they do? Simple they will comeback with a horde of Yomotsu Warriors and priest to make your day.

Same is true with dojo dungeon the choice spawn spots are "Taken". So if your still hoping lady luck is going to smile on you and drop a mempo fat chance buddy the scripters and evil selfish players will get it all. Better just sit back relax pretty soon they will be in the vendors at luna.

Whats with the mempo anyway I have valorite mempos with better resists to be better anyday anyways. So in case the developers knows nothing about this tragic pillage on the Tokuno Dungeons then just think of the event as another one of those looney days ahead as we await the SA. BTW KR hasn't even been improved yet here we are with more illusionary expansions and stupid events? JMHO

To those who got their mempo's congratulations! Hope your luck runs out soon for us ordinary players to get one too. I am forced to do the Balron room at Dojo and the end of the Yomotsu mines struggling even for hours without a drop at all HAHA guess the jokes on me eh?

Yes, another dev mistake.

The mempho should have been added as a turn in reward for turning in 10 minors and you would have ZERO complaints. It is good enough to be a 'large' reward and not a minor.

Then you could trade in these crap dyes and other deco for one.

I agree 100%!!! Curses the RNG again. I know it hates me... how else can you explain it? I've been farming for this thing since the beginning day in day out 6 to 8 hours a day in hopes that I'll get one and I've yet to get one. Meanwhile everyone I know who've been doing much of anything in Tokuno have gotten at LEAST one... some have gotten as many as 3.

As well I've gotten one bottle of Noble gold on my own... I had 2 others given to me but only have actually relieved as a drop one bottle. Not that I'm complaining much about that... I'm more irritated by the mempo.

How can something that has 60 resists and 300 luck screw up a luck suit where your only other options are:
A. 200 luck no resist Necklace
B. 20-95 resist 140 luck gorget

Oh and that Mempo is on loan. I traded my friend a beehive for it but, said id return it when I got my own. Also to show how rare it is for some people here are my minors. I gave abuncha Urns and Swords away among a few others. Also picked up 4 majors for extra.

Oh and for the trolls. Rune beetles. I get a drop 1 every 5-10mins sometimes a back to back double drop within that time frame.

How do you define improved? Or if you mean the fact that they stopped developing for it because they plan to remove it completely, just like they did the 3d client, by replacing it with the SA client then uh, duh? because SA is the improvement....

And when you show me another mempo with 300 luck mr1 and 60 resists, I will believe your mempo is "better" as it is right now you just have higher resists and really that matters not to a char that would use the mempo anyway.

Log into Oceania. Venture to the SW Corner of Luna(inside walls) and look in the large vendor house. there is one locked down just inside.

Well way to take a sarcastic post seriously! I actually had to log in to see what my character has on their luck suit (lucky necklace) so yeah I guess I could use the mempo. I'm the kind of player who dresses like a bum, would go pvp in my training suit (forgetting to put something on that actually had decent resists), and has only used their luck statue twice. I've done more pvm this month than in the past five, just going for dyes and I think I'm up to 12 tots total now, lol.

Now come on, guys... this whole, "The Dev Team should have made these a major," attitude is a bit silly. Me, if I wanted to chime in, would be saying, "They should have made Chaos Blue a major so I could turn in for that and have 50 uses."

Point is, they didn't.

Big deal.

I make about three four hunt runs a day, I walk away with what I walk away with, and life goes on. Who knows what I'll utlimately end up with... but if people don't end up with a mempo that wanted one, well, no offense, but it's not exactly the end of the world.

just to **** off some people, i got 2 mempos in about 55-60 drops, in the first day and a half and havent been in tokuno since. The first one dropped on my 8th drop, both were from tokuno champ spawn, and all but maybe 8 of my drops came from the champ spawn in that time period.

I had no intention of getting the mempo when i went, i was actually going for a few dyes as i don't get into the pvm farming thing very much. So, i think the secret is tricking the RNG into knowing what you want, and getting the opposite =P

Nah I knew she dropped Crimsons. At the time of this post I'd just yet to see a single screenshot of someone actually wearing a mempo. Obviously they exist now that there are vendors selling them and people using the mempos.

I got a mempo yesterday after standing on my spot killing lizards and hellcats for a week now
