how do you get birds on a perch from an idoc ?

You dont sugar. They are placed as a add-on so follow that of the deed add ons and go poof only the birds themselves stay behind not the perch. You can use your house tool to remove them when you place a house.

I also tryed the house tool it just moved it around out side the plot but is still here it did remove the water barrels and other deeded and-ons tho

You can page a GM to remove them I believe if you don't want a Parrot stuck under your house sign.

There are a few things like that which dont disappear or redeed at fall.
Parrots, water troughs, Banners and Ankhs are the most common.
