Have you looked at the sticky threads up top - castle/keep and custom home designs? You can probably get alot of ideas from those threads.

Well i deas wise, In my opinion no crafter room is complete without a work bench so maybe use the stone top counter tutorial for a bench along one wall or maybe create an island work bench in the middle of the room decorate the rest with looms and other crafter parafinalia.

You can also create benches using gozas and decorative boxes to display your crafed items on and some tongs and so forth to add the i use this area feeling. for dislay shelves - such as in the picture i used maple or cherry armoires then dyed them and lifted some gozas up (you gotta love them darn goza mats)

This is a pic of my crafter wing maybe it will give you some ideas : -

When i was decoing , and i know everyones different, i took a look at what i had and also what i wanted then scoured these boards for ideas and modified a few to fit needs then gained inspiration to make my own litle deco pieces to fil the gaps.

I wish you luck with decoing your rooms and your house and look fwd to seeing the results :)

My crafting areas are quite tiny, but I did manage water for my smith to 'quench' and a small carpenter's area, tailoring corner and kitchen with pantry off.

I can't locate my old craft room pics for some reason, but one detail I always did was split up the dye tubs. The carpentry and masonry area contained the furniture tub and reward statuette tub. (I always assumed the statues were made of stone). Inscription room has the runebook tub and the rest go in the tailor room. It's just a little something to make it more realistic, IMO, than just having all the tubs lumped together in a crafting setup.
