Idea to beef up Origin

Wading through a few threads I had an idea about Origin. I would test alot more of the housing stuff there if I actually had a house. I know You can do this on TC but it gets wiped occasionally then you have to place a house and find all of the other items involved in testing your ideas.

So how about letting 5+ year accounts on shards other than Origin place a second home on Origin? Do not allow secondary homes to be castles or keeps and put them on a slow 30 day decay refreshed by logging into that house instead of auto-refresh via a paid account.

To be fair let the same age accounts who's primary(first) house is on Origin place a secondary house w/the same rules above on any other shard?

Something along those lines anyway. I don't mean to offend any Origin folks. I would definitely spend a fair amount of time on that shard to build up characters to farm, craft, steal and buy the items I need to concept and test with. But it wouldn't be my "home" shard so I can understand why people rooted there wouldn't care much for the Idea.

Ya I put that in the original idea. No castles or keeps and a decay/refresh timer. I put the timer at once/month refresh though. A week seems a little short. Especially with vacations and all. 5 years even seems tooo short for age requirement tho. Maybe 10 year accounts. If you play this game for 10 years you definitely are in it for the long haul and you want to see that the game does well. Heck most marriages don't last that long anymore.

Chances are I'd only go to Origin to test something as it came live. That's not a once a week event, so I'm not likely to be on Origin once a week. I wouldn't mind helping make sure something hit live as bug free as possible, but I'm not going to abandon my regular play shard, nor visit Origin more often than would be needed to test stuff.

Limitation on house size to a 10x10 or 12x12 though... that I'd be fine with. Don't need a huge house for test purposes.

Of course, the other issue is if it's skills systems being tested, Origin will definitely need an influx of regular players in that regard, and this won't really help that.
