A Game of Thrones: Aristocrats Gather to Honor Lord Edwin Christianson

Tonight Citizens and members of the Britannian Aristocracy came out to honor Lord Christianson of Trinsic.

Few knew the man personally. But those who did described him with the common appellations. Some came to watch. Others to pay lip service in an attempt to court the new Councilor: Charlotte.

Charlotte - in a move that shocked some and amused others - did not promise compassion or forgiveness to those responsible for her kidnapping and her fathers demise. Instead she crumpled the speech she had planned and stormed out of the Throne Room ...leaving behind a bewildered Priest and several scandalized spectators.

Christianson has been well received in the short time since her appointment. But there have also been questions raised regarding the nature of her fathers death and her abductors. Only time will tell.

I wish to apologise for my husband's behaviour at the funeral. It is customary amongst his people to scream and wail and cause a scene at the graveside to appease the spirits of the dead, and he was most perturbed by the stoicism of the assembled mourners so he felt obligated to contribute in the only way he knew how. He meant no disrespect to Lady Christianson or to the departed.

What a beautiful memorial ceremony! As I missed a little bit of it! But I must say its good to be back to some events in UO as it seems like I haven't been to an event in a while! And drinking some sad tea at the memorial cause tea has feelings too! And tossing some pretty pie! Also tried to pat the dirt mound into the ground a little better (Don't think it did much). Okay, Okay off and about I go!
