Iam New to UO, have few questions

Now Im choosing shard on which to begin. I tend to Siege. But I cant find anybody on it :( How many active players on the server? What about pvp on Siege? I really hope that your answers will help me make the right choice, thanks in advance. Sorry for my english.

Siege is one of the smaller shards, but that is not really a bad thing. The population there is very tight-knit and everyone knows most everyone else. If you have trouble finding people, just ask around in General Chat. It is usually quite active. Also, ask for the NEW2 guild. They are the best ones to help newer players get started.

I played uo only half year in 2001. Nostalgia hurts. At the time, for various reasons I could not continue playing. Now i have time and desire. Siege only because full loot system is very attractive for me.
