Hi I am Cap,n Carunch, guild leader of RRG$. I would like to host a PVP tourney on Atlantic(the best shard) in memory of Whitefire whom passed away recently. I knew Whitefire well in game and was in his guild a long time. Tatianna Thorn has agreed to help me organize and host this tourney. I want to get some ideas here before I schedule dates for this tourney. I would like to get ideas here from you as to what you think is the most fair way for tourney. What I'm thinking is that we may have two weekends of qualifying tourneys depending on how many people sign up. I was thinking we have random matches between blues in Haven Arena for two weekends. The top 4 blues move onto the third weekend to battle in Occolo fel arena vs any reds that sign up. If you are red you automatically qualify for the tourney. I'm thinking that the reds pay an entrance fee where the blues will not have too.
What do you think is the fairest format for this tournament?
-no holds barred(pets, potions, enchanted apples etc.)
-any template limited pet slots no potions
-or have classes(warrior,mages, tamers)
I would like all that would be interested in a pvp tournament to sign up in this thread and pass the word around. I'm hoping maybe I can get Mesanna or Bennu to make something special like a trophy or something but idk don't think they like me very much. What would you like the ultimate prize for this tournament should be. Should it be a high gold prize or some random em event item? I am willing to donate items and gold for prizes for tournament. but I'm relatively sure the developers and EM's are not allowed to make any type of items for player run events, to avoid some people or shards getting special treatment. If you would like to get in touch with Bennu, you can post on the Atlantic EM forum here on Stratics, also you can tag people to give them a notification by typing @ and their name, which makes it more likely they will see your post, I'll tag Bennu for you in this post. For Mesanna, her email is the best way.
