UO is a service. We are paying for this, and if we find the service deficient we have a right to complain.

And the service is deficient. The last time I paged a gm it was about a problem with Anniversary gifts.

The response--a careful explanation on how the award system worked--which included incorrect information about how many awards that account has available.

There is a major house bug, boats have been disappearing, some players have lost millions of gold during character transfers, and the High Seas Booster still has bugs.

What did you expect, compliments?

UO is a service I pay for to ENJOY..... I can't enjoy it if it's all BORKED.....

Case in point todays patch for the EC..... it's errored up at least 15 times now and well quite frankly I just want to play my *&(*&(*& game not watch the patcher.

People are "complaining" about additions to the game that we're being charged extra for while bugs, crashes, bad art, etc are IGNORED by the Devs.


Remember when UO content was free, aside from big expansions? Those were the days we could be optimistic about. Now, notsomuch.

I can only say, if you do not like the negativity, you should probably avoid it. I believe with UO's latest move (a misfire imho) you might wish to steer clear from the boards for a while.

Some ^^^^ people may have forgotten, or may not even know, that this "game" is actually a LIVE BETA, your paying to test for EA. In BETA, you report the bugs, etc, so that they can be FIXED.
Your issue on "complaining" falls on deaf ears cause in BETA thats what you DO!
Going forward....your paying to test and report (complain as you called it) so get with the program and perhaps somewhere in the NEXT 13 years the game will finally come out of BETA!!

I too get tired of the "I wanna see ...", "How come I can't get the same as ..." and other things like that. But that's the gripers on the boards.

What I really dislike is the amount of years we need to await the correction of bugs that we are all working around ... stacking issues that have been worked around for years ... things like additional types of containers based on in-game mechanics of BOD books. We are not only paying for the services of the hardware but of the wetware - namely the humans on the support/development staff (at least).
