I was looking at some of my chars....

I was looking at some of my long forgotten chars on other shards. In on the bank boxes there was a decorative personal bless deed. I was wondering what that was good for?

Decoration If its an interesting character name then people might be interested in buying it

There is a difference. All the other personal bless deeds say... Personal Bless for so&so and is a regular tan color. The decorative personal deed is blue.

I am assuming you found this deed on a non-production shard. The reason they are decorative on those shards is because it would have been a balance issue. People played that shard before PBDs were handed out would have an unfair advantage over those people who started on those shards after PBDs. I think the reason they were made decorative (rather than just removed altogether) was because it was already in the code, and they couldn't remove them on specific shards, without causing them to be messed up on other (production) shards. My only source for this info is the lump of grey matter between my ears, so anyone feel free to correct anything I may have gotten wrong.

You're right - have one of those on my Siege char.
Those are old personal bless deeds - now every char can bless one item with a personal bless when clicking the char and selecting that specific option.
