I think the cloaks of corruption= the choice

It's the only thing that makes sense so far. Wear the cloak and lose Karma while gaining fame, loot, both desirable yet not in keeping with the virtues, or don't wear them and lose out on these "worldly" rewards.

On top of that, what is it that the "voice" to those infected by blackrock says? You don't have enough "lifeforce"? And isn't that something that you get in the Good/Evil system that's only on Siege? And are they not working on redoing factions?

This would seem to be a possibility.

the choice i think is going to be factions, they stated that factions are going to play a large role in this event....choose your side..choose your faction...or stay out of it and choose to stay neutral by not joining a faction..thats just my guess

I get that message in malas and tokono when i pass a mob and i guess it rolls to infect something outside tram or fel facet

Yeah, and I think that maybe they'll incorporate the good/evil system into factions, as another tier.

That might increase the Fel PvP, if "virtuous" warriors can go to Fel and get rewarded with faction points, or what would now be "lifeforce". And if this tier were added, maybe Fel reds could even go to Trammel and attack only that upper tier.

I don't know, but there seems to be a possibility here for better PvP and also in a more meaningful way.

1)If you have never casted Arma on a SL and are not BR infected; give him black rock
2) Blow the guy up

You're probably right. I am always wrong when I start speculating about the deeper meanings of UO. It's like I'm trying to swim in a mud puddle.
