Was checking the del wilds for an Alpha Frenzy. Killed a harpy and looted a 100 luck leather tunic. Noticed that be it loot or runic they turned the super slayer chance real high. Mass of hunting and pulled second SS off a trapdoor spider after SA released.

I killed many, many mongbats today while I was killing 3 or 4 thousand Toxic Sliths. What could I do? If one of those things actually hits me it might take a point off some of this stuff I just imbued.

I guess I stopped looting gold much when they changed the BoS long time ago.... never really got back into the habit now.

Most the time when I'm hunting now I'm on my archer... and with the 6 or so bows, 4 quivers and 250 bandages.... I really don't have a whole lot I can carry... So.. I use my BoS to send good artifacts and things... keep all the other stuff and leave the gold.

Since I can only carry about 4 or 5 k..... seems a waste of a charge for that.

Most mongbat kills happen while I stand in the moongate and think where I should go.

At first I think why loot them, not much gold. But then it's nagging in my mind and I can't resist and loot them finally *g*

Same reason I still go into all the legacy dungeons. I love hunting in Wind,Wrong,and Shame.

At least I will be ready for it when I actually do get a million dollars.



I loot gold from mongbat & rats, pickup trash at banks, pickup fish from the ground etc...

Things with hides I will skin too.

Erm, this bit is probably bordering on OCD, but I pickup resources that folks throw away on TC as well...



Anyhow, about mongbat loot - even a ring with a single 1-luck property can be unravelled into magic residues. So it's worth even more than before!

And night sight, fc, spellchannelling, damage type conversion, slayers etc are all 100% properties that can spawn on low level mobs.

The right combination can get you essences. And relics too if you hunt mid level mobs.

I do all of this as well! Glad to see others share this....ocd? as Harlequin suggested-- lol! I agree that imbuing had made looting more interesting since we need to unravel for residue etc. "Trashpicking" at the bank has always been fun! I've found some really good "stuffz" to keep, to give away, or for deco. I think most of the plants I have for deco came from people tossing theirs away at the bank!

Oh I am a trash collector that's for sure... I have a beggar that regularly frequents Luna bank and he's picked up all sorts of wonderful things... plants armor (Everything he wears for armor he's either been given or picked up off the ground somewhere, I've never had to "outfit" him...) all his weapons, he regularly brings home tons of gargoyle pickaxes, sturdy shovels and hammers, reward cloth... He takes things people craft and throw on the ground and sells them to the npc for gold... and yes plants and deco items galore...

Oh I loot everything I slay for its gold. Mongbats, ettins, zombies, skeletons, whatever. To be fair, my chars are far from GM, so they are 'poor'. None of my chars have millions in the bank, so every little bit helps.

I pick up other junk too, to sell to NPCs. Not only do I benefit from it, it keeps Britannia clean.

I'm terrified of selling things to NPCs ... too many flashbacks to accidentally selling my main weapon then having to rush back to town to buy it before anyone noticed.
