I need some Cove level 3 & 4 Monster info.. Anyone?

I would like info on all the critters spawning on Cove levels 3 & 4 if anyone has it? I checked out the stratics monster guide as well as UOguide and didnt find anything. Monster skills / resists / Hit Points and such..... ALSO.. what monsters can open doors and how does the spawning system work? I know varios "slayer" groups spawn but that it does change.. I just dony know how often. Anway if youve got any info post! Im at work or ID go stone on stealth and lore and do some testing.. THX

The monsters rotate at server up.

And for what open doors i have a simple (although it might be silly) rule. Anything that have hands open doors.

Animals don't open doors ( Drakes,Wyvern,Alligator,Lizards...)
Elementals don't open doors.
Humanoids all open doors. (Titans,Orcs..)
Skeleton open doors.

Heh..thx! I like the hands rule. I did a bit more looking around and it appears only Coras humanoid horde appears on level 4. Is that correct?
OH... do the artys only come from lvl 4 also?

The groups rotate on both levels (Thats the levels after the void pool area) . and the arties can be got from both levels. Just the monsters at level 4 are harder and have higher chance to drop them.

The monsters on level 4 are much tougher than on level 3, with skills averaging around 160. Resist on those are also through the roof, however when you do lore one, if it has low xxxx resist, all monsters on the floor will have the same xxxx low resistance. Best bet is to take a character with discord, and as far as slayers go, unless you want to take a bag of 50 different slayers, just use super slayers and a gm exceptional instrument for those which dont have a slayer category. They hit really hard, and some have an aoe effect which will make them turn on you if they were on your pet. Some will also randomly turn on you anyway, especially the titan when it is repond day on level 4. Also, during reptile day, you can probably expect to die from getting nuked through the wall by a magma lizard, come to think about it, the imps do this also on demon day. Its boring as all hell, but some of the best loots in the game drop there. Make sure you have a GOOD suit with whatever toon you take.

I've gotten some really nice relic frag worthy items down there on a very rare occasion they are worth keeping. ie they aren't cursed, brittle, or can't be repaired.

I was working level 4 last night. Those critters have a ton of hit points. I was using a mystic Mage with RC. Can a sampire stand toe to toe or is a greater dragon a better option? The possibility of getting swarmed exists... But there are the stairs for a retreat.

BTW, the most important thing I've learned about level 3 and 4 Covetous is to know what monsters open doors. Getting control of an area isn't too hard until a lich (or other mob) opens the door letting 5 mobs suddenly pound on you. OoOOoooOOo!

Yeah.. Anything with Hands ! I'm brainstorming up ways to kill these critters quick & it seems Armor Ignore is the ONLY method.. Though you do have the option of applying it through and RC as suggested heh. I'm going to have to Mark a rew runes and drag a sampire down there for some testing.

I plan to do the same thing. I'm debating whether my weapon should be a whirlwind or AI special move weapon. If I go AI then I think I will need to be ready to use momentum strike when I get ganged up.

its strange, i fight on level 4 to get stuff to melt down for relics.
and ive gotten a couple arties, but NONE on level 4, all just up the stairs on level 3.
and i play down there a LOT!

I stay at level 3 for artifacts. The reason is that i can kill the monsters fasters. And killing them faster is killing more of them is more chances for artifacts.
