I miss the good old days :'( (Pre-BC)

Am I alone in this, or does everyone miss Pre-BC, when things were actually good. Tier gear looked AWESOME, and was worth getting. And raiding was more fun. Like PuGing Ony, and on a rare occasion Molten Core.

And when PvP was actually fun, and didnt just matter on the fact if me (a rogue) fought a warrior i would be owned very easily.

But it actually mattered about gear.

For example... A warrior has about 10k+ health easy. We hit about... 800crit backstabs on them, with 81dps epic daggers....

Every warrior has a Might of Menithil X2.... Not balanced.. But anyways, enough of my QQ'ing about balance...

I just miss pre-bc days, am I alone, or do you guys agree that blizz sucks bad, and keeping this a fun game? =\

why on earth would you want to be 60 forever

If there was no expansion you'd be stuck in the same raids over and over again. Seriously how many times can you raid MC before it gets stale. Once you get all the armor whats there to do then? No expansions = stale content.

If you don't like the game or where its going don't play it IMO

He never said he wanted to be stuck doing the same thing over and over again. he said he wants old school pvp back with the day long AVs, 40 man raids, when gear wasnt given out like candy and mattered, and when if you were a certain class V a certain class wouldnt mean you lose. Nowadays, Rogue V Warrior=Warrior 90% of the time, etc

I would love TBC 1000% more if they hadnt made everything so easy to get.

Oh you mean back when only the hardcore players could get the l33t gear and anyone that only had a few hours a night to play had to stare in awe of the raiders gear when they sat in IF showing off.

Nope still happy with the way WoW is today.

Yes, it's kind of like saying the people who stays in school and studies all day and night gets rich and the people who goes out to clubs and get high all night should earn the same as well?

A game is meant to be enjoyed by all, not just by those who have the time to play 23 hours a day.

I'm sorry if my Kara and ZA purples and s1 gear I got from running bgs for a couple hours a night offend some people, but I had fun doing those things. I have every right to enjoy the game as much as you.

Elitist attitudes impress no one except other elitist and you are definately the minority.

Youre acting like it was hard to raid. I'm a HS student and played 2-3 hours a night and got into AQ40. Most casuals can afford that per day. You just need a good guild.

One, I have a good guild and we are able to do 10 and 25 man raids and we enjoy it when we do. In fact a group from my guild just downed Vashj the other night. Pre bc I was in a good guild, we were all friends and had fun. We didn't have the people to do 40 man raids.

Is it hard to raid now, no not at all (big plus) before BC you had to join a raiding guild, and unless you knew people in the guild you had to fill out apps and go through all kinds of other crap, and then you had to be there when they raided.

Well not everyones schedule is the same. If you were in HS then you had nights off. Those of us that are older had jobs, we also usually didn't always have nights off and mostly didn't always have the same night off. So if you didn't show for most raids you were kicked down a notch, you may not have always had a spot. But first and formost If I got into a raiding guild what about my friends? They would have to go through the same thing. What fun is that?

Honestly I could go on and on but you act like everyone had a chance back then and honestly they didn't. Now with smaller raids its win win for almost everyone

Not sure. But I find it strange to have started 3 threads that are a word to word copy and paste directly from the official forums. Lag pointed one out in another thread that I had also remembered reading on the official forums so I decided to look the other two up.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that it's some goofy SEO (Search Engine Optimization) technique for the link they have in the signature.
