I`m hoping the creator of the Legacy 2 skin reads Uhall.....

I love this mod and am very curious as to when or if it will be updated with the current patch so it has the chat stuff. I have installed the Copper skin which is also very good but I just got hooked on the brighter Leg 2 and the books that look like books,hehe. Maybe I`m missing something with copper...any way to brighten it up? Just seems so dark to me. All good though,still a very nice skin. I don`t like the stock version SA brings.....having more options like mods/skins makes the EC even more attractive.... so thanks to you modders!

I looked around at the modders exchange but didn`t see any way to contact someone or email or w/e. Sorry if this is a bad spot to post this question.

Basically, he's trying to figure out how to add it in without 1. changing the size of the menu bar and 2. NOT removing one of the existing buttons.

On C-E, as the developer of that skin, what I was trying to do was make a skin that was a lot more subtle than the default skin (bright gold and orange didn't really appeal to me, just seemed too... jarring). I used Bitter Black Enhanced from KR as my base and developed from there (favorite graphical work for me was the War/Peace shield because of how it came out). I tried to make it a more minimalist skin, so the tone is meant to be a bit darker and more subtle (without being completely invisible). As fun as the development was for me as a (VERY) ametuer graphical designer, I doubt there are any notable tweaks I'm planning on doing for the time being.

Right on that bright orange and gold just killed it for me,lol. I like the Copper though. I like that lil button out there to change the handles,pretty handy in filtering a buncha names ya don`t need to see. I can live with the darkness,not a show stopper really,actually I`ve gotten used to it now and lovin it as much as Legacy 2.

Best 2 out there IMO.

I`ve found myself logging into the EC almost all the time now a days. I can definately see they have been busy since its release or I would have never made the swap. I actually like the char model these days looks and moves right. Lots has improved and I`m sure lots more will continue to improve. I just hope other hardcore 2d`rs like I am continue to play with an open mind. Try the EC once inawhile,check to see if it meets your standards yet. I`m sure it eventually will.

The last thing that helped me was having a nice person dye my charger invis color.Damn that things god aweful in the EC,lol. Looks sharp now.

Sorry I hadta go off on a for the EC,lol. Just excited to explore it and the world with a different set of glasses.
