I have an idea for a good xmas gift...

I don't usually make suggestions like this but I was thinking today while building one of my houses.... It would sure be nice if we had blinking lights for christmas this year. Something kinda like the garland shape but with blinking lights on it. I sure would have a hay day with those and it sure would be nice.

I've been suggesting a Yule log for years, one that can be set on fire; however I think the dev team needs to focus on learning the history of the game they are working on, and how to use the tools they have to create content for the game. Then maybe start building new stuff.

Its a nice idea, But I think its going far beyond the UO period. (yes I know we have Snowmen etc, But blinking fairly lights is too much imo)

Rather they spend time on a great event. Giant mutant snowman and the rather of Mrs. Succlause. Slap some red eyed reindeer artwork over uber raptors that attack in packs of 8 instead of three. Have a chance that Old SatanClause shows up everytime someone opens a trade window. Give him a nasty skelly dragon breath with his HOHOHO and 15 spaces around him and the old lady is like slippery ice.

Personally I just "hung" some of the large mining gems on my garland..... looked like xmas balls.....


And I think what I'd really like would be a nice new pet..... like i have asked for.... a few times... how about a little dragon like a fairy dragon to sit on that perch.... rather than a silly parrot..... they could come in spiffy colors... and instead of repeating everything you said...... they can sometimes breathe smoke or fire... wouldn't that be fun??? And you'd feed them meat..... just like any other pet...

And I think it would be cool if the more you interacted with it the more neat things it would do.

Like at first it maybe can only breathe smoke.... then it does sparks then fire...


Secondly you can "train it" to breathe the fire... or smoke... flap it's wings... Would be fun

But we need something like... a Yule log... a string of bells... that act like a chime.... you can hang on your door...

I really liked the icy patches.... I'd like to see something neat... like an igloo....

Maybe a "fur" coat we can make with that fur from the Boura.... a new craftable!... that would be sweet...

Ohhhh Yule log would be an EXCELLENT idea to put into a fireplace. Love it.

All great ideas (cept for a couple of bah humbug ones).

I think something useful would do great. Something that we can accually use and interact with. And won't go to waste.
