I’m a life long anti-airbag spokes-person, supervising countless hours of pain and suffering because the lobbyists bribed the US government to make airbags mandatory in cars with no concern of the consequences of the people they cripple and kill every year.

Speaking as someone who wouldn't be here right now if not for an air bag, I'm glad the government made GM put them in my first car.

I have 2 friends that airbags saved them from an idiot drunk driver that smashed into them.

I witnessed a wreck 5 years ago in an old car that did not have airbags in it and the poor woman in the passenger side head hit the winshield. She had a seat belt on but it malfunctioned. An airbag would of probaly helped her in that situation.

So nothing wrong with a little goverment regulation.

Airbags are really good. I actually almost got hit by a car the other day. He came to close, I think he was drunk. We had to quickly move into the other lane and avoid it or risk him hitting the driver seat....

Man those airbags could've helped if I didn't know how to get out of situations without them.

I detest government officials but bribes can only go so far. If you "**** off the people" enough something is suppose to happen.
