I was browsing UHALL and saw a thread about your favorite UO memory and saw a post about a ton of Golem's and decided to share an idea. This one is for you Stupid Miner.

I don't know how much taming it would take to tame a wolf but I don't think it is alot.

Imagine tons of people from different shards taming 4-5 wolves or 4-5 whatever and invading champ spawns with them--or taking over any pvp spot( if Yew is still the same). Picking a shard a week to take over.

I wonder what kind of gankage 50 - 100 tamers with 4-5 tames in tow could cause?

I wonder if a Shards tamers could do the same thing at the Ishnar champ spawn or some of the other areas.

Could make for some great screenies. I can see it now 1000 chickens killing PK's. Oh and as a hint about the lag--the chickens wont have the lag only the players will.

Dennar......
That's too funny...... I recall when the Void Shadow demon was in Illshnar ..... on GL we took everyone and gave them a golem...... to take up with them to try to kill it.... was insane!.. But fun!

I also recall going to Ice Island and using herding to herd every single White Wolf and Snow Leopard on the island into one huge pack....... I think I have a screeny......

Oh and I'm glad you still lurk about the forums..... Perhaps one day you will return to your home... in UO.... even though you and I played different shards.... I remember you.

LOL, that's a great idea. Unfortunately I've never been much for organizing events, that's more yours or Airmid's or Kariny's or Taeara's thing.

Btw, LS is getting the Britannian Olympics going again with our new EMs, you should stop by some time. :D

OT: How has Dreamlore been? I haven't heard anything about him in forever... is he ok?

Great idea. I believe anyone can control a wolf, so if you have some tamers tame and trade to non-tamers, you could up the number.

Dumbest idea I have heard in a very long time, all it takes is 2 earthquakes to kill all the wolves on you screen.

or, you could get a bunch of herders together, work the T2A Oaks to Ki-rins, then herd a hundred of them over to a different spawn....

How many creatures do you know that cast Earthquakes? Oh yeah, none. So it would require a player to crash the party. If they do, that's on them.

But the original idea was to take over PvP spots, and that's where you run into the trouble. Earthquake or wither will annihilate the packs and the players alike.

The only realistic way of doing that kind of event is with proper previous planning (which prevents **** poor performance). In other words, the pets have to be some kind of pack animal (wolves or bears preferrably) and the pets have to be both trained and bonded.

I defy anyone to cast 2 withers when 15 trained bears are trying to eat your liver.

The good thing is, done correctly, it doesn't take long to train pets at all.
