Feel your pain , EA and Customer service mix as good as fire and gas..:coco:

...and what about getting a GM in game n a timely fasion? forget it.
2 hours wait is not a timely fasion and still no gm replied or showed up. I eventually got pissed off and left the line.

Worst game service of any MMO at the moment and yes it pains me to say that UO has fallen that much in player relations.

Worst game service of any MMO at the moment and yes it pains me to say that UO has fallen that much in player relations.
Actually, I think Funcom holds the record for the absolute worst customer service. 2 hours to get a GM? Try over 14 hours. And if you don't refresh your petition every 4 hours, they delete it. If you log out, you have to start the whole process all over again.

Not saying UO doesn't have bad CS... just saying it could be much, much worse.

Jeremy - how about some numbers.

How many total GM's across all shards?

Are they dedicated to a shard or help across shards?

How many are working at any given time?

The stats would help set our expectations.

You'll never see those numbers, because UO doesn't have its own GMs.
It SHARES GMs from other games.

UO is about as low a priority as they have, so they spend far more time in the other games than here. And we end up with funny posts of GMs in UO thanking the player for playing one of those other games. :p

He wants to take my vendor house in Zento on Oceania and I have to transfer it by the 15th!!!!

Jeremy, always appreciate your posts but you and the team need to try customer service from a players side instead of a employee. Play the game untill you get yourself in a problem that doesn't just inturpt game play for a couple hours but days. Then try paging a gm, get fustrated and try requesting support via email, then after that try calling customer support. After a week you'll start acting as crazy as most of the uo.hall crew

These #'s use to be good to call with problems (I have used them in the past). You would get a real UO person & many times a REAL Good :D one. Since they trans' to Virginia, I do not know if they are forwarded there, gives a recording with new # or what, but these 2 #'s always got results.

Wow, that's the exact same thing almost to the letter they often told me, usually followed up with 'we can't do anything because we won't/can't/don't know how, thank you!'

as for getting numbers on gms, there's probably something in clause B section 32 line 5 or so that tells Reps they can't discuss such things. I do believe EA implants cortex bombs in their employees.

Yes, my UO friend, the "customer service" for this game is the biggest joke I have ever seen in my 44 years of existence. I really can't imagine how a company as large as EA games can manage to stay afloat when considering how they run things. I believe that eventually it is going to come back to haunt them (no halloween pun intended). You may as well stand on your porch with a newspaper rolled into a cone and scream for customer service since you will get the same response.

Don't allow their failures to cause you to be angry.

And yes i agree get more people!!!!!! snag some coop student from an video game desine school or something but just get more man power and less...

Well nothing has happend since the e-mail soo....
so now I have officialy tried for more than 5 weeks to get an account xfered.
No wonder peopel get scammed buying accounts if this is the standard for xfering accounts.......
