Hello, its me again. As you might have red in the RAA shop post, im working on making a little "scool" and support centre for new players. It should be up and running beginning of August. I named it "New Player House" for now..cant come up with anything better that still tells what its all about.
Me and some helpful people are writing books with basic..very basic info for the totally new players and there will be some for a little more experienced players as well. There will be some vendors with cheap essential things for beginners, no real shop. I have teleporter to RAA from there . Free equipment a la HLP will be handed out to thoose who wants it.

I hope the place also will serve as inspiration what you can do here in UO. I think the books are written that way. Basic items will be displayed and explained if needed.

So far so well..but there are some gaps here and there. If i could get a rares thief to write something it would help..I tried but i have very little experience

Also a Role Player essay ..not to long ..would be a great addition.

Last and sure not least: are there any guilds active now that recruits new or returning players? Any RP guilds with recruitment books to place here? It happens that players come to Europa just to check out the role playing here.

This is whats left to do and anyone is welcome to check it out..Trinsic gate.
Hopefully you like it and direct the new players or old returners here if you dont have time to help them out. There are crystal portals and dye tubs etc here..good to know about and you can easily walk from Haven.:scholar:

Orc are currently looking for new players. Since we are still organicing guild structure and such we havnt had much time for reqruiting though:)

I know its hard for new people to join a guild nowdays. And I understand it. It use to take alot of time to get the new one equipped and they often leave when they get new friends. You can get someone you dont think fit in at all. But you also lose the chance to get some good guild members .. I still hope to get some recruitment books from the RP guilds thou.

For others ill make a book explaining for them its easier to find a guild after playing a while and learmt to know some people.
During periods when we had Haven based guilds recruiting everyone, it was a joy to be a HLPer but such guilds takes on alot of work, you need to be balanced and patient and have lots of spare time to last on that job! Still the effort they make might be the most important thing there is to do for our shard.

Maybe be a little less hesitant to add someone now and then? RAA/RAAM has taken in some very good newish players from time to time and will in the future im sure.. Hope for some others to do the same.

Ill start to announce in Haven this weekend even if some books still might be missing. Still lots of polishing to do so I better get on!;)

Almost sorted things out now. Some books still missing but I opened yesterday evening by placing a book and staying a while in Haven. Then I got busy for the rest of the night!:party:

Hey Minerva could you give us an ICQ whenever you have time please ? I think Ziglah had a quick chat with you, and I just wanted to talk to you as well about something we're doing in the Roleplaying Community on Europa that would be nice to link in with the wider community too and involve them too if they like. I'm thinking we could come up with something together. Anyways I can show ya more about it if ya give us a holler.

I'm new to Europa and to UO, can someone gimme tinker golem and poison wep for training sampire? Also needed LRC suit for necro training.
