Yeah, seriously, I did fight in front of Hyloth tonight (our EMs dared to hold an event in fel) and I was really careful, but once my cursor accidentially touched the black area and my screen froze for 30 sec or so. When I came to, I was dead of course.
It doesn't happen everwhere on fel though, never had problems in despise. Usually in the lost lands and today on fire island. Once it happened, it doesn't matter where you recall to, you're screwed and have to re-log (I usually restart the whole client, just to be on the safe side)
This is really the biggest and baddest bug in the EC at this moment, pretty close to a game breaker for me - and I'm a big EC fanboy. Can't believe they cannot reproduce this. I can with every computer and on every connection. And it doesn't seem to be a drachenfels only problem either. There have been many offers to the devs to tag along with somebody on a champspawn to recreate the situation and help them find the problem. I gladly add my offer: Come to Drachenfels, do a spawn in T2A with me in the EC and even if you're not able to experience it yourself, I'll gladly give you remote access of my machine so you can see it.
A completely different bug that I keep hearing people complain about, is that books written in the EC aren't readable in Classic, because the word wrap doesn't work.

Lucis Interface fixes that problem actually. That's not what I was posting about. I just have my fps drop into the single digits after I've pvp'd for a while in Fel. The Enhanced Client uses a 3D game engine that is a good five years old. There is no way it should be bogging down that much with my hardware. My hardware isn't high end, but it is more than enough to run five year old games with decent frame rates.
