I cant find any whit runes to rares so

and yes, some of the old stuff may seem a bit dated, but a tall candle from Deceit or scattered hay from Khaldun tents can still sometimes be just the right item for the scene you want to set.

i agree that the older rares still make great house deco. on top of that they seem to sell well on my vendors when i stock them.

well when i returned to siege a few months back i tried like hell to sell some of my old rares to finance my return . the few offers i got left me so let down i gave up trying . that "kill or maim" comment was actually a quote someone (actually a few poeple) told me.
the best offer i had , 250 k for double blessed dark blue sandles for instance , actually got withdrawn cause they werent the right shade of grey.
that very same week i saw an identical pair sell for more than 5 mil on a prodo shard . hmmm ... yeah . i stopped trying to sell stuff .


maybe there are a few people interrested here . but i think in genereal the comment holds true.

i meant no distrspect to anyone who does . in fact keep it up . id like to see more personally . it just seems to be the general way siege leans . very few care about an interior door key , but an uber heavy crossbow ? omg break out the paypall .

Well, there I think is the difference. No, you're right, we don't have many 'rares collectors', aside from a couple of museums, and double blessed sandals are a rare. We do have decorators, which is not quite the same thing.

Hey if its something you like to do its your $12.99 a month or whatever tier you pay at. Who knows maybe you will be the one who brings back collecting of old rares, or EA may even come up with a turn in for old rares like they are doing with everything else, then they would be in high demand! Who knows UO/SP is your oyster!

everyone keeps telling me this is the pvp shard . strange , i find plenty of monsters to slay.

czarina . thanks but now that i have scrolls and a couple mil in my bank i believe i will keep my old rares . and perhapse open my own museum some day .

on prodo shards i remember it was hard getting locations from other thieves (aka crates) locations seemed to be closely guarded trade secrets . folks might swap secrets , but rarely were they given freely. i cant immagine it being any different here. (notice the lack of replys to your request ?)

oh and by the way im already on your icq list (sofa king)
we are alliance mates so perhapse ill take you to some spots i know and see if you can nab em. i dont have a thief here so i havent looked ... but i cant see why theyd spawn in any different spots.
