I am reopening the talk about token trades UO stratics

As of right now, no you may not trade tokens on Stratics. From the Stratics Rules of Conduct (emphasis mine):

O. Activities that are against any games' Terms of Service or User Agreement are prohibited from being promoted or advertised on our network. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Third party programs
  For Ultima Online, "third party programs" is defined as any program having an affect on the UO datastream or software, and not listed as approved
• Game item sales for real world goods or currency (also known as Real Money Transactions [RMT])
• Power leveling services
• Unapproved modifications to game clients
• The sale or trade of UO game codes
• The sale or trade of UO player accounts
• The sale or trade of promotional tokens
• And/or links to such items

Further questions about the Stratics policy changes should be directed to admins @Kirthag , @Zuckuss , and/or @Oscar the Grouch . Questions about Broadsword policy should be directed to the UO.com contact form or to [email protected].

Sadly this needs to be reposted even at a chance of a ban at this because this site has completely lost its way. Remember people, they are banning IN GAME ITEMS FROM BEING SOLD (on this site which is not illegal in any TOS know to UO) and this is OFFICIAL UO BOARDS.. Then the saddest part of this canned response on behalf of the stratics staff is to look for more canned responses defending their actions which is just pathetic on there end.

I don't see the big deal. So put them on your vendor in the game and sell them?

Why does Stratics have to be a middle man broker for your sales anyway?

There's not a token in the game worth more than 175m (unlike rares) so its not like
anyone is trying to stop you from selling them. Rares couldn't be sold ingame due to
the 175m limit of vendor sales.

Am I missing something here? Why do you care so much that you want to risk a ban?
(PS. Not that a ban is such a big deal. I've been banned a few times myself )

I think it's about time stratics took a common sense approach and reviewed their stance on this one.
