Please keep this civil. I would not like this thread to be hijacked by the mods and sent into Spiels and Rants. This is an honest inquiry, a gauge of the state of UO and the state current players would like to see it in. Keep it civil and we might have a wonderful thread here.

Go back to the days of having 1 facet ( i know its not for everyone). It really added exsitment for the game and this was when i didnt even pvp. It made people ban together and go on big guild hunts instead of having everyone seperated and hunting alone. Now theres not much interaction for most people and no 1 has a reason to hunt with ne 1 else beside peerless. There was always the feeling of exsitment never knowing what was going to happen.it was more of a mmorpg back then and thats when the game was flourishing

I agree.

Maybe one facet w/ the major roads serving as guardzones. This way, one can travel in relative safety and still have danger lurking just beyond. I wonder if that could be done.

I think it would be good/interesting if Malas was made into a Fel ruleset. Im a bit of an idocer, and about 70% of them are Malas. I think it makes it far more exciting when you have the risk of dieing.

I love fel idocs. I was at a fel castle idoc, i dont pvp, i was on a char with stealth/hide/ninjitsu/poison/mage. I died like 30 times and didnt get a single thing from the idoc, but god it was fun trying. HA!

First of all, you won't see "one facet" simply due to one reason... HOUSING.

Secondly, assuming they unified the rulesets, I'd lay my money on then making EVERYTHING no non-con PvP with Factions and guild wars being the main PvP systems within the game thus retaining Siege as the only non-con PvP ruleset left to the game.

I'll throw out two... one that's supposed to happen but may not, and one that SHOULD happen but probably won't although at the moment it's the more realistic of the two.

Supposed to happen: Sunset and remove the Legacy client and unleash the KR client to its full potential.

Should happen: Open a test server that is accessible by the KR client ONLY and allows the KR client to be utilized to its fullest.

1. fixing server-side bugs
2. Eliminating forms of cheating from UO
3. Adding new and interesting content
4. Being the best game there is

I like the idea of a KR only shard because it would eliminate pretty much all cheat programs.
