So what's the deal with the region "Hyjal" over at Kalimdor?

I don't see any mention of it, what's there, or how to get there.

Any clues? Is it worth it? I'm level 60.

it's not accessible.

Mount Hyjal is pretty big in Warcraft lore, that's why it's there. I'd expect them to open it up in the future though.

There is a Battle for Mount Hyjal instance in the Caverns of Time, 25 man raid.

Through wallclimbing people have managed to enter in the past, it's big and rather empty in there, just trees and ruins. You can find movies of it on Youtube

Hyjal as it is in the world now is just the ruins and aftermath of the Mount Hyjal battle. It's not accessable by normal means as other have said, but you can find pictures and video if you look around. It's one of those lore-based events ^^.

To add to what others have said...Hyjal also contains the remains of Archimonde, which I believe are still hanging from the World Tree.
