Disclaimer:
NOTHING I am going to say is with regard to speed hacking, so please don't even go there. I am NOT trying to advocate 'other means': I'm merely pointing out the lies that are always found in these sorts of posts.
Let's just remove this whole bull**** mask you people try to hide behind: the ONLY reason anyone dislikes 'other means' is because it lets other people do what you cannot. I've played this game for 7 years now, and not once have I ever met someone who refused to run 'other means' to train, gather resources, or what have you. More often than not the reason people don't run 'other means' is because they are not handy with computers. You can all cry morals this and morals that, but let's face it this is a computer game and if I can save some valuable time by running 'other means' in one of the most simply-written languages in existence, then you bet your ass I'll do it every time.
One more thing I'd like to clear up for you pvp-disabled trammies out there (as well as whiney, "but I'm the best how did I lose" PvPers), I guarantee less than 5% of PvPers run any sort of 'other means' while they fight, so let's just drop the whole notion of using 'other means' to PvP...it is simply a ridiculous fallacy. Now back to the point. You anti-'other means' also claim that you ENJOY doing these things by hand. If that were so, there would be no reason to go on forums and protest 'other means'. I don't see any models or athletes outside of the gym protesting fat people.
So, I guess the point I'm trying to making here is please, no please is not a strong enough word; I demand that if you are going to post on these forums then at least have the decency to be honest with yourself first, so then you may be honest with all of us as well. By the way, if you don't quote this sentence in your response it means that you didn't read my entire post and I will make you look foolish. Thanks.

Um, the last time I checked suicide is not illegal, nor is there ever given a significant effort to prevent it (unless help is sought after). And I'll stop you before you give me the whole "wow, comparing 'other means' to suicide is stupid" argument, well, in this case it works. If people want to "hurt themselves" then why is it any of your business? Or is it that your statement is simply a tactic to hide the truth? My point was that there are many people for which Training ALREADY is meaningful.
Those that currently speed through training, though legal (advanced characters, for example) or other means are in effect, self-crippling.
