Place some log cabins with a few npcs that collect items. Add things to loot drops, such as on bears, bear claw and bear tail. Add to all the other types as well, like rabbit foot, deer antlers, for example.
Also, use alot that already exist, like tribal masks and spears, arcane gems, paragon chests, and whatever else could be obtained by hunting.
The best part would be hunting for items so you could turn them in. If a bear's tail was rare and worth 5,000 points and was randomnly dropped, there would be alot of dead bears. If their claws were worth 500 points and not so rare a drop it would be worth hunting bear.
Awards should be given for these points, such as a life sized stuffed bear to place in the tower and willing to give let's say 150,000 to 200,000 points.
The rewards should automatically change every 3 months so the system maintains itself. For example, the first 3 months a standing bear is available, the next 3 months a sitting bear is available, 3 months after that a bear with a fish in its' mouth becomes available.
The systems added into the game should not be taken back out because an event is over, they should be put in place to make the game better and remain with the game and its' history.
