Human or Gargoyle Travesty mage

Going to build a mage archtype specificly with Mystic and Spellweaving. What race is more suited
Human, or Gargoyle ?? Character will primary be used to solo travesty

Human has more SDI artifacts than gargoyle, which is pretty important IMO.
