White leather dye tubs. Do something-or-other with them which I'm not clear upon and wouldn't elucidate here anyway, and suddenly they can dye cloth. Rumor is it only works on Atlantic for some reason, but that seems odd and is unconfirmed.

Players distributing white cloth clothing at the bank and dying bulk bolts of cloth willy-nilly. They may fix the bug but they won't be banning for it, or the whole Atlantic shard will be going bye-bye.

I've got my 500 bolts of leather-white cloth. A nice person at the bank offered to dye something for me, and I chose a pile of bolts rather than a cloak or something. Heh.

Is this really just an Atlantic thing? Presumably it will be fixed?

I play Atlantic and can not use my white tub to dye cloth. So either I have the only "normal" one here or they have figured out some kind of exploit. My money is on the latter.

He means the ability to dye cloth. We are all pretty aware that the typical version dyes leather items.

edit: I can think of a thousand other things to ban people on than having the ability to dye a cloth item something a few degrees different in hue than what they can already without a 'bug'.

I heard it is all over the Asian shards.

It only took a couple minutes to figure out how to convert a white dye tub to dye cloth. The developers tried to fix it but they missed one thing.

Im guessing its the same way you make a regular leather dye tub dye cloth, If it is then that bug has been around for years and has never been fixed.

Oh well. The hue actually looks really nice on cloth, so it's all good.

Ive seen the cloth for sale on Chessy within the first 4 hours of release.
