How'd they do this?

Picked up a spam rune for reuse as a spare, went to rename it Spare and got this:"you cannot edit the description for this rune"
How'd they make it permanent like that?

If you are inside a house when you mark - it is considered a "house rune" and is automatically marked with the name on the house sign. These are un-editable until marked over again.

Thanks Tazar, can we still mark in the house? I tried once before placing the house, just said blocked

If you marked it before you placed then it is indeed blocked. Just mark one inside your already placed house.
