How you can also keep the lower premium price when playing via Steam

As announced here, prices for the premium status will increase soon. All existing recurring subscriptions, as well as those purchased before January 29 at 10:00 UTC, will continue to auto-renew at the old price.

To keep the old prices on native client all you need to do is to keep your existing real money subscription or buy premium time for real money in our shop.

If you are playing the game through Steam, follow the guide below:

How to lock in the old premium price with a recurring subscription if you are playing via the Steam client:

• If you have never made any real money purchase in our shop, you can buy the new Premium Promo Pack that includes a recurring 30 day subscription. To do that, get our native client from albiononline.com/en/download and log in with your normal account. You will find the Premium Promo Pack in the Featured offers in the ingame store. After you have purchased it with a payment method that supports recurring payments (e.g. Credit Cards or Paypal), and thus signed up for a recurring subscription, you can go back to using the Steam client again if you wish.
  
• If you currently don’t have premium status active, simply head to albiononline.com/en/home and log into your account in the upper right corner. Then go to albiononline.com/en/shop/subscriptions and the subscription you like with a payment method that supports recurring payments (e.g. Credit Cards or Paypal). It will auto-renew once you have three days of premium left in the game. Afterwards, you can simply login via your Steam client again.
  
• If you currently have premium status active, you can still simply head to albiononline.com/en/home and log into your account in the upper right corner. Then go to albiononline.com/en/shop/subscriptions and the subscription you like with a payment method that supports recurring payments (e.g. Credit Cards or Paypal). It will auto-renew at the old, lower, price once you only have 3 days of premium time left on your account. After making the purchase on the website, you can simply login via your Steam client again.

Note that all our subscriptions can be easily canceled at any time. To cancel a subscription, you can go to albiononline.com/en/profile/subscriptions and simply click on “cancel subscription”.
