How to upgrade to SA in the "Return to Britania" Promo ?

ok, if a account has no gametime, but he is open because of the return to britania promo, how can i upgrade this account to SA ???

the promotion last til the 16th october, and if we HAVE to buy new gamtetime first before we can upgrade, then we lose 20+ days of playtime, is that fair?

yes i did, if you try to upgrade an account with coupon queue empty but in return to brit, there is NO upgrade option in the subscription window

After all we (SA upgraded ppl) had to pay for the code and did not get any free gametime attached with it either.

And I think yes it is fair - after all their intentions was to lure some ppl back by giving them "limited" access again for a while; not suddenly handing out 20 additional free days to everyone that pays for an upgrade code.

Arrrr, 'tis true! There be no 'upgrade' link in yer account management pages if yer account be inactive/unpaid. And while me agrees that this may be fair, it may also be losing them business, like folk with householder accounts who can't upgrade during the return program, and may have second thoughts when that account is reactivated to save house!

No, it's fair. You just don't like the idea of having to pay the monthly fee and thus claim it's poor business.

The upgrade is for ACTIVE accounts, not inactive. Just because they gave you 20 free days doesn't make it active.

Why?
They allow you to play without paying for a few weeks - and on top of that they even gave everyone the ML upgrade for free; was not cheap to buy back then for regular players either...

And then you come along and expect that for you the SA upgrade code must include a month free gametime while for everyone else it does not?

What does this have to do with customer service? Admittedly I think their customer service could be better, but just waving the customer service banner for every issue you have doesn't make sense.

The reality is, if they allowed people to upgrade and then the promotion runs out, those people might be crying foul and asking for a refund. I suspect this is the reason why they do not allow this.

The new upgrade is only a sliver of the full UO content. Can't you enjoy the 90% of the rest of the game you have access to while you wait?
