How to remove pirate binding pole

I seem to have lost my binding rope for this quest. The Pole is stilll on my deck and I cannot seem to remove it. Does anyone know how to remove the pole so I can dry dock my ship

The quest does not show up! I am using the EC client. I tried to sytart the quest again and I got a rope but am unable to board the pirate ship after scuttling. I get a message that says I cannot do that while the ship is moving. Maybe they should have fixed the pirate hunting before expanding it
Ok even after getting the quest again I was given a new rope and had 2 binding poles on the deck. I captured a pirate and turned him in. I still have a binding pole on the deck of my ship. boy does this suck.

I have gone thru the quests menu and there is no mention of a pirate quest listed.

I paged a gM and kind of know how this is going to turn out. So does anyone know anything else I can try?

I have still not figured out how to remove this stupid binding pole. Does anyone have a suggestion? After 2 nights of waiting for a GM response (never got one), I am coming to Stratics for help.

there is a small bug when trying to board a scuttled ship. If everything on the deck is killed there is usually no problem, but if there is still anything alive you get the message that you can't board while moving...blah blah blah.
To fix that you simply double click your own wheel, thereby taking the helm again -then double click it again, releasing control of your ship. Now you should be able to board the scuttled ship.

A GM, either Akemai or Acheren, removed a bugged pirate binding pole from my ship before. I think you better continue paging until you get one of these GMs.

Did you try to empty the boat and dry dock it, it will cancel the quest automaticly but if you have fish monger quest box's it will cancel them and lose rep.
